1. Open choices in Paint Waves
Open Settings → Ad Privacy Choices. Where Google UMP requires a privacy-options form, you can review and change the options provided for your region. If no form is required or available, the game explains that status.
This website cannot change the provider choice on your device. Accepting the game’s Terms is not advertising consent.
2. What a privacy choice changes
Ad requests wait until Google UMP reports that ads may be requested. Paint Waves keeps personalization and publisher first-party identification disabled, applies restrictive age-related settings, and does not request ATT permission or access IDFA for cross-app tracking. Privacy choices cannot override these restrictions.
Non-personalized ads still process limited data and may require consent for storage or other purposes. If a refresh fails, a valid existing choice may still permit ads. Advertising remains unavailable when UMP does not report that ads may be requested, and you can keep playing. See the Privacy Policy.
Permission from a parent or guardian to play is separate from any legally required consent for personal-information processing. Age-based advertising restrictions still apply regardless of a privacy choice.
3. Rewarded videos are optional
A rewarded video opens only after you tap a clearly labelled reward offer. You can ignore it and continue playing. Rewards are granted only after the advertising service confirms that an eligible video was completed.
If a video is unavailable, cancelled or fails, your campaign progress and ordinary run rewards remain intact.
4. Remove interruption ads
The Founder Pack is a permanent, restorable purchase that removes interruption/interstitial ads and includes cosmetic Founder items. It does not lock or unlock campaign levels. Optional rewarded videos remain available only when you choose to request one. The purchase does not disable UMP or all Google advertising-service connections.
